Ganador del Premio Pedrin Zorrilla en 1993. En el 2013 fue seleccionado como uno de los mejores 75 jugadores de la Liga de Béisbol Profesional del Puerto Rico y fue ganador del prestigioso Premio Francisco ¨Pancho¨ Coimbre en 2015. La Liga de Béisbol Profesional de Puerto Rico le dedicó la temporada 2023-24.

The Puerto Rico Professional Baseball League dedicated the 2023-24 season to him.
